Job Description

The MEP Specialist will be joining the client team in Boston, MA working on the expansion and revamp of a major convention center. This addition to the team will come in and assist will all stages of the construction process. This will include assisting with high-level decision making, cost estimation, construction administration, documentation, building management and building maintenance. The client is looking for an MEP subject matter expert who has vast field experience and is able to give high-level MEP approvals / signoffs on large scale projects.

Required Skills & Experience

* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline preferred; commensurate experience in construction projects including experience in planning, management, coordination and scheduling, and general construction/construction management work will be considered.

* 10-15+ years of hands on MEP engineering / field experience

* Knowledge of Quality Assurance (QA) and Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) standards.

* Strong Understanding of multiple trade disciplines, specifically mechanical and electrical systems.

* Organizational skills, oral & written communication and team attitude.

* Working knowledge of basic computer software.

* Must possess a valid driver's license or other proper/official/valid form of ID (e.g., U.S. Passport; NYS Non-Driver ID issued by the Department of Motor Vehicles).

* Travel and overtime work will be required.
