NY1522588 Prime Materials located in Canastota is seeking full time General Laborers. Days and hours: Monday through Friday with some Saturday overtime work available. Two shifts are available: First shift (Days) 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. Second Shift (Afternoons) 3:30 pm to 12:00 am. Prime Materials Recovery's primary objective is to assist the wire and cable manufacturers, utilities and dealers to maximize their resource recovery. PMR is one of the largest non-ferrous metal and polymer merchants and processors in the United States. Duties: Perform a variety of general labor tasks including wire sorting, plastics washing, and operating various machines used in the materials recovery process. Minimum requirements: High school diploma or the equivalent preferred. Previous experience with machine operation in a production or manufacturing environment preferred.
