We are proud to offer compassionate care with trained professionals. We are currently looking for Resident Care Attendants to help support environmental services, nursing, dietary, and activities.
What you will do:
Casual/on-call
Support non-direct care tasks to assist environmental services, nursing, dietary, and activities
Available to work a minimum of one holiday per year, 8 hours every 30 days & 8 hours on the weekend every 60 days
Nurture a family-based care environment by learning about each person and serving their needs

Job Description:
This position is responsible for completing and supporting non-direct care tasks to assist the departments of environmental services, nursing, dietary, and activities. This position will report directly to the Environmental Services Manager but will float to other departments as directed.
Major Responsibilities:
1. Support Environmental Services Department: help with washing or folding laundry, wipe down high touch areas, sweep/clean floors. Maintains wheelchairs to ensure cleanliness and safety for our resident's use, and notify maintenance and nursing of wheelchairs that are in need of repair.
2. Support the Dietary Department: pass food/dinner, pour drinks, pass "hour of sleep snack", wash and put away dishes, clean tables/chairs/walls as needed.
3. Support Activities Department: activity events as requested by residents
4. Support the Nursing Department: pass waters, pass incontinent products, pass linens, answer simple call light requests, pass basin monthly.
5. Helps enforce the policies that are in place set by Gundersen Tweeten Care Center.
6. Solicits and responds to residents and visitor complaints/concerns/compliments either in writing or verbally, using appropriate resources.
7. Adheres to Gundersen Tweeten Care Center mission statement, policies and confidentiality standards. Role models customer service standards
8. Performs other jobs duties as assigned.

6 months of related experience in a nursing home or similar role. Examples include: CNA, dietary aide, cook, environmental assistant, or laundry assistant.

Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers (with hands on learning) from one of the following programs: American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
