 Founded in 1941, Leiden Cabinet Company is a store fixture manufacturing company serving numerous national and local accounts. To meet our growing client needs, Leiden opened up a distribution warehouse in North Carolina to add to its 2 locations in Ohio (Twinsburg and Strasburg).

Our specialties include: Retail Store Fixtures, Restaurant, Hospitality,

Casework/Millwork, Sports Team Shop, Cafes, and Occasion Gifts.

 

Position Summary:

Leiden is hiring (2) additional Builders to join the team in our Strasburg, Ohio shop. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to start their career in woodworking who will be able to gain valuable skills and knowledge from our existing team. A lot of our employees have been with the company more than 15 years, some up to 40!

The Builder is responsible for the complete assembly of a wide variety of custom fixtures, casework, commercial cabinetry, and millwork for Leiden's wide variety of retail clients.

First Shift, Monday-Friday: 6 am-2:30 pm, with occasional overtime

 

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Assemble custom cabinetry for the national retail, hotel, hospitality industries, and other commercial enterprises.
  • Meet or exceed company operational standards regarding productivity, job costing and labor standards.
  • Adjust, fit, and align component parts to very close tolerances and strict inspection standards.
  • Study specifications in blueprints or 3-D modeling software to assemble finished product.
  • Test or inspect assembled units.
  • Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment.
  • Complete other assignments, as requested by management.

 

Education, Qualifications & Experience:

  • High School diploma or GED preferred. Some technical college helpful.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to work overtime, as necessary.
  • Skilled at reading blueprints and 3-D modeling.
  • Prior Experience in building or assembling commercial cabinetry, casework, or millwork.
  • High level of professionalism.
  • Drug-free at all times.
