Sugar Loaf, a Lifespark Senior Living Community, is looking for a Maintenance Assistant to join our growing team.

Sugar Loaf Senior Living is conveniently located on Mankato Avenue in Winona, MN. We have been helping seniors Age Magnificently since 2012 in our gorgeous 80-unit, apartment-style community providing Assisted Living and Memory Care services. Are you compassionate towards others? Are you passionate about enriching the lives of others? If so, we want you to join our team and help seniors Age Magnificently! Our Maintenance Assistants become family and impact the lives of our residents who live in a Lifespark Senior Living Community.

In this position you will assist in the repair, upkeep, and maintenance of the building, grounds, and equipment. Duties include:


Perform all duties concerned with electrical, heating, cooling, plumbing, painting, floor care, and various equipment.

Perform assigned housekeeping duties including trash removal, mopping, cleaning, etc. in accordance with facility policy.

Address and correct work orders to maintain building and equipment operation.

Assist in the purchasing of supplies and equipment for departmental operation, may require vehicle operation.

Assist in the supervision of outside contractor services.

Assist in the inspection of building, equipment, and grounds on a regular basis to ensure compliance with codes and regulations and to maintain proper operation.

Preferred Qualifications:


High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience in health care is preferred.
