Job Summary

Person Centered Support Staff. BFOQ must be 18 years of age and have a valid drivers license as staff will be transporting clients to various appointments, errands, shopping and outings. Position is full time, 40-60 hrs a week, scheduled all 7 days of the week, with 1-2 days off a week. It is a day shift position with shifts of either 8am-6pm or 8am-8pm. Job duties include but not limited to: Assisting Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities with activities of daily living such as: personal hygiene, grooming, bathing, ambulation, feeding and toileting. (depending on need, some clients are higher functioning than others) Fostering positive relationships between client served and housemates, encouraging self-help activities ensuring client safety, maintaining safe environment. Performing home management functions such as: light housekeeping, laundry, planning meals, grocery shopping, preparing & serving meals and clean up afterwards. Observation and monitoring clients for any changes in behavior, physical changes or affect and reporting any findings. Documentation on all services provided, other duties as assigned. Benefits include, PTO, Medical/Dental & Life Insurance & 401K. Starting pay is $12/hr. Overtime is time and a half any hours worked over 40 in a work week.
