Your Opportunity:Taylor is seeking aSenior Quadient Inspire Programmer to join our Venture Solutions team.This critical position will play a key role in designing, modifying, developing, and implementing applications to create personalized and customized Omni Channel Communications.Advanced knowledge of Quadient Tools including: Inspire, ICM, Automation/Scaler and Designer as well as experience with Document Transform and Reengineering tools such as Compart DocBridge MillPlus, Solimar SPDE and Rubika, Crawford PRO Transforms and Operations Express or similar tools will make this the perfect role for you!
Your Responsibilities:
Design & develop Inspire templates
Design and optimize workflows using software to manage print re-engineering workflow solutions that greatly enhance document distribution and management in transactional printing and web presentment environments
Use of Complex data types (XML, JSON, multi-line variable data record formats etc.)
Design workflows with various precomposed input format using data stream transformation and re-engineering tools such as Compart DocBridge Mill Plus or Solimar SPDE and Rubika
Collect and analyze project requirements
Testing, maintaining, supporting, and documenting templates and applications
Participate in database design and data loading
Develop or acquire test data for testing and verifying the accuracy and completeness of the intended results
Learn and maintain legacy systems and custom applications
Contribute to the upkeep and consistency of internal documentation related to issues, resolutions, usage topics, and training
Work closely with Customer Service and Production to assist with troubleshooting print issues
Proactively identify opportunities to improve process, and optimize operating efficiency of existing applications
Assist in resolving internal/external inquiries related to input/output requirements, intended usage, strategic planning, and alignment of these elements to internal checks, controls, and quality assurance
Maintains records for the documentation of systems development and revisions
Clearly communicate verbally and in written form - articulating complex thoughts and ideas in small or large group settings
Able to work well in a collaborative team environment
Work with limited direction on assignments
Stays current with software and industry trends
Mentors of junior developers
You Must Have:
BS in Computer Science, Engineering or MIS or relevant work experience
5+ years' experience utilizing Quadient Inspire software and tools, including design, development and implementation of technical solutions utilizing the tools
2+ years' experience utilizing PDL transform and Document Reengineering software and tools, including design, development and implementation of technical solutions utilizing the tools
4+ years SQL development
4+ years' experience object-oriented design/development using general purpose languages
Requires knowledge of various scripting and programing languages, and ability to learn new languages and processes quickly (JavaScript, Java, Groovy)
Knowledge of multiple print file formats such as PDF, AFP, PCL and Postscript is required
Effective communicator of concepts to technical and non-technical staff
Capacity to effectively handle multiple technical roles in a complex environment
Demonstrated ability to establish priorities, organize and plan work to satisfy established timeframes
