Buffalo. Prince Rubber & Plastics. Purchasing Manager. $25 - $30/hour. For established manufacturer and fabricator of custom rubber and plastic products, many proprietary, operating from two locations in the USA. Highlights of the position responsibilities: * Work with senior management on purchasing strategy parameters * Seek reliable vendors or suppliers to provide quality goods at reasonable prices * Negotiate prices and contracts * Review technical specifications for raw materials and components for compliance to specifications * Determine quantity and timing monitoring of purchased goods deliveries * Help manage inventories * Utilize business computer software such as Sage 100 regarding analyzing MRP reports, track inventory, and requirements, *WILL TRAIN* as well as being competent in utilizing software such as word processing, spreadsheet, and email. * Organize and/or assist resolution of non-conformance issues regarding purchased items * Associates Degree required, Bachelors Degree preferred. Technical and business education very relevant. Compensation includes hourly rate, profit-sharing plan, 401K, ESOP (Retirement Plan), medical benefit plan, Paid Time Off, Paid Holiday Days.
