Job Description:
Need 2 full time, temporary, seasonal Ag. Equipment Operators to work in Campbell, MN and Wahpeton, ND.
From: 04/01/2024 to 11/07/2024
Work: 60 hrs./week, Mon. - Sat. 10 hrs./day, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Wages offered by location where work is performed:
MN: $18.50/hr.
ND: $18.32/hr.
In Minnesota only, as required by state law, all hours worked in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at 1.5 times the regular rate of pay.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Job requires the operation of various tractors and farm equipment to till soil; work ground; prepare and maintain land; and plant, irrigate, fertilize, spray, cultivate, harvest, and transport crops to elevator or storage area. Equipment that workers may be required to operate includes, but is not limited to, tractors with various implements, equipment that utilizes GPS and auto-guidance systems, and combines. Non CDL farm trucks will be loaded with agricultural products and driven on the farm and to storage facilities. Job also requires changing combine cutting heads; rouging fields and using hand tools and farm equipment to remove undesirable plant varieties, rocks, trash, and other objects from fields; performing general maintenance, repairs and/or clean-up of storage sheds, pivot points, buildings, and all farm equipment; ensuring operational areas are organized and well maintained; using hand tools and equipment to repair, clean and maintain farm vehicles, machinery and specialized machinery and agricultural equipment; and regularly servicing equipment. There are few typical days and workers may be required to change duties and/or locations often and engage in various general functions. Daily duties may vary depending on crop, weather, and field conditions. Work includes exposure to extreme temperatures and extensive sitting or walking. The employer reserves the right to increase workers' pay or provide bonuses based on tenure, performance, or other factors that are solely based on the discretion of the employer.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Three (3) months experience. Must have or be able to obtain a Class D driver's license within 30 days of hire. Basic English literacy and math skills are required. No HS Diploma / GED required. Random drug testing and criminal background checks may occur post-hire at the employer's expense. These checks may be performed to ensure safe housing and work environments for all workers. Positive drug test results or refusal to comply with testing may result in termination of employment. If employer discovers a criminal conviction record or status as a registered sex offender that employer reasonably believes, consistent with current law, will impair the safety and living conditions of other workers, the employer may terminate the worker (foreign and/or domestic) with notification to OFLC and DHS in accordance with 20 CFR 655.122(n).

EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts. Required work-related tools and supplies provided free of charge by employer.
