Tech Advisory and Delivery Manager - Supply Chain Technology (Boston Consulting Group, Inc. - New York, NY) - Manage large-scale digital supply chain transformation projects for companies in a variety of industry sectors. Specific duties include: restructure supply chain business processes and underlying IT processes; evaluate organizations’ supply chain, planning and inventory strategy, and IT architecture; assess organizations’ requirements and recommend best-suited supply chain software solutions (e.g., Kinaxis, o9, AWS Supply Chain); analyze data flows and integrations of supply chain software solutions; develop technical product roadmaps for future supply chain capabilities, and steer development teams. Requires: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Management, Mathematics, or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent including a three- or four-year foreign degree) plus four (4) years of experience as an IT Consultant, or related occupation, responsible for evaluating IT architectures, performing technology assessments, and supporting clients in digital transformation which must include at least one (1) year of experience assessing and restructuring an organization’s supply chain operation and underlying IT processes (experience may be gained pre- or post-conferral of Bachelor’s degree). Specific skills/other requirements (quantitative experience requirement not applicable to this section) - must possess the following: planning and managing complex projects as part of end-to-end supply chain transformations; overseeing strategy and implementation projects where scope spans across enterprise functions, such as supply chain operations and enterprise information technology; conducting vendor selections, including assessment of functional and technical capabilities, and evaluation and selection for supply chain tools and technologies; designing and implementing governance framework and platform solutions across functional domains to address changes in complex technology ecosystems and guide decision making; restructuring and developing strategic designs of business and IT processes, governance, and operating models for the supply chain organizations of large enterprises; diagnosing current state and developing future state supply chain IT architecture through technical requirements and evaluation including vendor landscape, vendor assessments/selections, tech cost benefits analysis, and/or platform valuation and design; conducting system integrator RFPs and proposals to identify implementation partners for supply chain transformation projects; developing technical product roadmaps by identifying potential opportunities, prioritizing features based on business value and aligning with business and technology stakeholders to achieve the long-term product vision. Partial telecommute benefit available. Must report to and reside within commutable distance of the listed BCG office. Domestic/international travel required (up to 80%) based on client/company need.
