Technical Writer, Cloud Networking

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience as a technical writer.
  • Experience with technical documentation, developer facing, Cloud APIs, networking protocols, or network architecture.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience as a technical writer.
  • Experience with computer networking technologies, such as DNS, routers, the BGP routing protocol, firewalls and firewall rules including iptables, Virtual Private Networks and cloud-based services, and load balancers and proxies.
  • Experience with public Cloud technologies such as Cloud Networking technologies, Compute technologies, ML/AI technologies, or data systems (e.g., Data Warehousing, Analytics, SQL).

About the job

Technical writers plan, create, and maintain educational content as an integral part of the engineering or user experience. The content is often in the form of documentation, but may also be UI text, sample code, videos, or other educational material. Regardless of the content medium, technical writers are distinguished by their abilities to explain complex topics in a way that’s useful to their audience.
