Required Skills:
Knowledge and experience in the field of substance use disorders and/or mental health and/or direct care experience in a residential setting preferred.
Ability to work in alignment with company values, goals, policies and procedures.
Knowledge of MN Statute Chapter 245G and licensing and its application to the agency’s policy and procedures; or ability to obtain knowledge after hire.
Ability to establish and maintain effective and cooperative relationships with co-workers and collaborate professionally with others outside of the agency.
Ability to maintain excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills in English.
Ability to establish priorities, efficiently complete tasks, and meet deadlines.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Experience with Microsoft Office programs and Procentive electronic medical record preferred; or ability to obtain proficiency after training.
Preferred Skills:
Medication Administration training and experience preferred, but not required.
Current CPR and First Aid Certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
Current Driver’s License, in good standing preferred, but not required.
 
Job Description:
The Recovery Technician (Tech) is responsible for providing supervision and support to clients in the residential and/or IOP with Lodging program(s). As an essential part of the multidisciplinary team, Recovery Techs create and maintain an environment that fosters and supports recovery from mental health and substance use disorders. Recovery Techs supervise and manage client behavior, manage crisis situations, and assist in the direct support of a wide range of program goals. This is a direct service position.
