Job Description

 
6 Fulltime H-2A Seasonal Jobs available 4/08/2024- 11/15/2024. Workers will trim trees, plant trees, summer prune, working up fields for new trees, and perform orchard maintenance, repair bins, driving tractors and farm vehicles, harvest apples, raspberries and strawberries, mow orchards, spray fruit, operate trucks or other multi-purpose vehicles to transport workers from housing (weather on or off the farm) to the farm properties; haul tools, supplies, or crops; transport workers from place to place around the farm properties during the workday (including on public roads to reach the farm fields); and/or transport workers to the grocery store, bank, or laundry facilities on an as needed basis. All workers are to be treated with respect and dignity; they are a critical part of this farm. The workers are also expected to treat the farm's facilities as if they are their own. The farm's housing should be kept clean. When the workers leave, the facilities should be returned to the condition in which they were upon arrival. Alcohol and drug abuse will not be tolerated. Workers must adhere to the food safety standards outlined in the Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) manual. Workers will be given a mandatory day of rest, and on the remaining days of the week, the will be expected to work weather permitting.
