Clinical Director - Sign on Bonus Eligible

Program & Location: Harmony House, New Bedford
Education: MA, LADC1, or other independent licensure, or an LADC II in good standing who has two years supervised substance use disorder experience, and one-year full time equivalent of supervisory experience while serving in a clinical capacity or two years of supervised substance use disorder counseling experience and holds a current ICRC Clinical Supervision Certificate in good standing.
Pay range: Starting at $70,000(dependent on experience and education)
Status: Full time/Salary Monday - Friday and on call
Clinical Director Duties & Responsibilities

Compliance with federal regulations, 42CFR Part 2, Confidentiality of Alcohol Abuse
Policy, and HIPAA regulations
Compliance and working knowledge of applicable HPAO policies and procedures
Provide direct client services, carry a minimal caseload if necessary, assessment and
treatment planning skills, proven case management abilities
Interact with local and community service networks in a manner that enhances the public
relations of the facility, and increases community services
Attends all programmatic, organizational and committee meetings as assigned
Provide individual and group supervision to Program Manager and clinical staff,
maintain appropriate documentation
Manage payroll, time off requests, approve timesheets
Develop and recommend Performance Improvement Goals and objectives for Clinical
Team
Routinely review resident charts to ensure that the structure and substance are in accord
with licensing and accreditation standards
Meet with Program Manager regularly to review all program process issues and all issues
pertinent to quality care and organizational health and viability
All other duties as assigned
Clinical Director Requirements

Knowledge of addiction, mental health issues and the treatment/recovery process
Ability to work effectively with state systems, knowledge of and adherence to the laws and
regulations regarding state and federal licensing requirements
Familiarity with relevant professional codes of ethics, client?s rights, and boundaries
Competence in working within a structured human service setting, program management
and development, development and maintenance of effective interdepartmental and
interagency collaborations
Strong and effective verbal, written, and organizational skills
Knowledge of basic computer skills and software programs, ability to learn, use, and train
HPAO?s electronic medical record
Experience in staff supervision and trainings, performance appraisal, recruitment, hiring,
evaluation
Certification in the HPAO approved de-escalation program
Participate in annual TB Screening
CPR Certification
Clinical Director Qualifications

Must hold a Master?s degree in one of the following disciplines or a closely related field:
Clinical Psychology, Education-Counseling, Medicine, Psychiatric Nursing, Rehabilitative
Counseling, or Social Work.
At least two years of supervised substance use disorder counseling experience
At least one year full time equivalent year of clinical supervisory experience
LADC1 or other independent licensure.
Maintain and submit any/all licensure or certifications as necessary for the position.
