Medtronic IT Technologist / Business Systems Analyst in Minneapolis, Minnesota
Position Description:
IT Technologist / Business Systems Analyst (prin. level) for Medtronic, Inc., Minneapolis, MN. Responsible for architect, design, develop, and implement efficient information systems and/or operations systems in support of core enterprise functions. Gather requirements from Business Users to analyze, document and validate the needs of project stakeholders. Understand the users’ goals for the new business cases and define functional requirements. Design and develop IT systems integration on Mulesoft platform and APIs using Anypoint Studio 7.x language, utilizing RAML and OAS protocols on REST API design principles and publication/subscription (pub/sub) Messaging patterns. Leverage high-level networking concepts including LBs, firewalls, WAF, VPCs/VPNs and TLS. Configure WAF on products such as AKAMAI to protect against security threats. Leverage enterprise security for the APIs including encryption, JWToken, oAuth and/or other industry standard authentication methods. Leverage various source control tools including GitLabs and Jenkins. Use industry standards to design, develop Architect Systems integrations on products like Mulesoft, SAP PO, WebMethods, APIGEE, and Informatica Real-Time. Develop integrations between On-prem and Cloud technologies like Salesforce, Informatica MDM, and SAP. Coordinate requirement mgmt. tools and change mgmt. using JIRA, Confluence, ServiceNow, and HP ALM. Support work for a diverse team supporting multiple time zones. Multiple positions available. Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Systems, Computer Science and Engineering, Software Engineering or related technical or engineering field and five (5) years of experience as an IT Technologist or IT Business Systems Analyst or related occupation; OR Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Systems, Computer Science and Engineering, Software Engineering or related technical or engineering field and two (2) years of experience as an IT Technologist or IT Business Systems Analyst, or related occupation. Must possess a minimum of two (2) years of experience with each of the following: Mulesoft Integrations and APIs, Anypoint Studio 7.x, RAML and OAS on REST API design principles, and pub/Sub Messaging patterns; LBs, firewalls, WAF, VPCs/VPNs, TLS, and AKAMAI; Enterprise security for the APIs including encryption, JWToken, and oAuth; SAP PO, WebMethods, Mulesoft, APIGEE, or Informatica RT; Integrating with On-prem and Cloud technologies including Salesforce, Informatica MDM, SAP and Cloud based applications; JIRA, Confluence, ServiceNow, and HP ALM.
