Operates deposition systems to produce coated components.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
• Sets up tooling (installs spacers/tooling as needed)(help
assembles backers)(knows how to locate tooling).
• Load/unload parts into chambers as needed
• Understands chemicals that are used throughout the lab and how to
dispose of them
• Foils chambers
• Changes targets
• Performs basic spectrophotometer scans of optical components
• Performs regens
• Bead blasts tooling
• Starts coating runs
• Knows the chamber status of their area
• Can perform simple crystal error recoveries
• Rebuilds sources with supervision (ebeam)
• Performs and supports 6S activities as directed
• Understands and promotes a safe environment
• Knows chamber cleanliness and how it effects quality
• Works effectively within teams
• Lifting requirements, up to 60 pounds
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
