You Are:
UST is searching for a BIOS Validation Engineer who will conduct root cause analysis and bug advocacy in Semiconductor Products; tracking activities to closure with very minimal supervision.
The Opportunity:
Conduct thorough validation and testing of BIOS firmware to ensure compliance with Client's standards and requirements.
Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, including test cases and scenarios, for BIOS validation.
Perform functional, regression, and compatibility testing of BIOS across diverse hardware configurations.
Identify, analyze, and meticulously report bugs, defects, and inconsistencies in BIOS firmware.
Collaborate closely with BIOS development teams to troubleshoot issues and drive timely resolutions.
Maintain detailed documentation of validation activities, test results, and findings.
Stay abreast of the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to BIOS validation.
Create and maintain automated test scripts using scripting languages like Python or PowerShell.
Analyze test results, troubleshoot issues, and document findings effectively.
Collaborate seamlessly with hardware engineers, firmware developers, and other stakeholders to resolve BIOS validation challenges and ensure prompt product releases.
Keep current with the latest BIOS validation tools and technologies.
Uphold a strong understanding of industry standards and best practices pertinent to BIOS validation.

What you need:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
Prior experience in BIOS firmware validation or similar roles.
Proficiency in test plan creation and execution.
Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.
Familiarity with BIOS architecture and testing methodologies.
Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. As required by applicable law, UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.
Role Location: Remote
Compensation Range: $60,000-$90,000
Our full-time, regular associates are eligible for 401K matching, and vacation accrual and are covered from day 1 for paid sick time, healthcare, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance benefits. Depending on the role, some associates may also be eligible for stock options.
