Daikin Applied is a global leader in providing innovative HVAC solutions for commercial and industrial applications. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sales, Inventory, Operations, & Planning Intern to join our dynamic Operations team. This internship offers valuable hands-on experience in the field of supply chain within a leading organization.
Timeline: May - August 2024.

What you will do:
Analyze sales and material data to develop accurate sales demand and material forecasts.
Utilize Excel, Microsoft Access, Visual Basic, and other tools to conduct analytical work.
Collaborate on current projects related to statistical processes, particularly in inventory and operations planning.
Participate in end-to-end planning processes, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
Connect with the wider supply chain team to share insights and collaborate on forecasting initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications:
Sophomore or Junior currently enrolled in an accredited degree program in Supply Chain
Strives to continuously build knowledge and skills
Self-motivated & detail-oriented
Ability to work 40 hours per week for the duration of the internship
Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrate proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Access, and Word)
Strong affinity for mathematics
Experience with Oracle, Visual Basic, and Programming languages (C# and C++)
