About this Role:

As a Community Connections Manager for Kinetic, you will use a proactive approach to leading a team that is integral to our local market success. You will use your talent for nurturing strong sales teams and connecting deeply with the local region you and your team support. In this role you will drive sales performance while ensuring that the team's activities are closely aligned with the needs of the local community.

What You’ll Do:

 

  • Lead a dedicated sales team, ensuring they deliver exceptional service and meet sales goals, with a keen understanding of the local market nuances. 
  • Forge genuine connections with the local community, leveraging these relationships to enhance market presence and drive sales initiatives. 
  • Regularly coach and mentor team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement 
  • Oversee the hiring and onboarding process, cultivating a team that is not only skilled in sales but also resonates with the local region's culture and values. 
  • Partner with local sales teams to organize and staff events that resonate with the local community, amplifying regional sales efforts. 
  • Provide direct sales and customer service support as necessary, leading by example to maintain high service standards. 
  • Contribute valuable insights during weekly operational meetings, focusing on tactics that tailor to local preferences and opportunities. 
  • Keep the team informed about sales strategies, operational updates, and performance feedback, ensuring alignment with local market objectives. 
  • Cultivate an effective referral network, tapping into local insights and relationships to bolster lead generation and sales. 
  • Address and resolve escalated customer issues, upholding the brand's reputation in the Local market. 
  • Oversee the execution of daily sales activities, ensuring they are strategically timed and targeted. 
  • Handle intra-team conflicts with diplomacy, fostering a collaborative atmosphere. 
  • Administer the budget for the local sales team, ensuring fiscal practices are in harmony with sales strategies and goals. 

 

Do You Have:

  •      Strong track record in sales leadership with an emphasis on local market dynamics. 
  • Exceptional people skills, enabling deep connections with both team members and the community. 
  • Strategic thinker, able to align sales initiatives with local consumer behavior and preferences. 
  • Experienced in coaching, talent development, and performance management. 
  • Organized and adaptable, with the capacity to balance multiple priorities. 
  • College degree and 6+ years professional level experience with 2-3 years supervisory experience; or 8+ years professional level related experience with 3-4 years supervisory experience; or an equivalent combination of education and professional level related experience desired. 
  • Proven leadership in local marketing, sales, or related fields. 
  • Understanding of the telecommunications industry and local market dynamics. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering and nurturing local Partnerships. 
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle customer escalations with empathy and efficiency. 
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and client or customer engagement skills. 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills. 
  • Effective communication skills (verbal, written and presentation) with the ability to influence at all levels.
