Job Description

 
3 Fulltime H-2A Seasonal Jobs available 03/01/24 - 09/30/24. Duties: Use manual and powered equipment to plant, maintain, fertilize, irrigate, harvest, transport: hay, straw, soybeans, greenhouse plants, vegetable and fruit crops. Load and unload trucks, maintain fences, equipment, and irrigation. In addition, the worker will maintain and clean work areas around production greenhouses. Equipment operated: Farm tractor (50HP min), baler, bale loader, (and other powered hay and straw production equipment), field planter, rototiller, mower, soil blender, flat filler and sterilizer. Also power tools for farm maintenance. Workers will comply with procedures for power equipment safety as instructed and follow other instructions of supervisor. Workers will follow rules that assure site safety as instructed. Tools paid for by employer. Requirements: * Minimum of 6 months experience in performing tasks described in this order. * Extensive pushing / pulling, extensive sitting, extensive walking and frequent stooping. * Exposure to extreme temperatures and repetitive movements * Lifting requirement of 75 lbs. * Drug testing post hire at employer expense The full terms and conditions of the job (form ETA790a) should be reviewed and provided to qualified applicants from this website: seasonaljobs.dol.gov.
