Team Leader - Combo Crew
Departments: Slitter, MBL, Press, and CTL
Reports To: Shift Supervisor
Shift: 6:30pm-2:30am
Hourly Rate: $22.47
Shift Premium: $1.00
Number of Openings: 3

*Training on each of the different departments would be conducted on 1st shift (6:30am-2:30pm) for the first few weeks of employment*

Summary:
Responsible for the overall shift coordination of the Slitter MBL, Press, and CTL activities to ensure the correct schedules, procedures, actions and documentation. Assigns team member's duties and assigns training as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

All employees are required to actively support and follow all safety rules and keep work area clean and orderly.

Slitter Primary Duties Include:
* Ensure that the Slitter line is running correctly and efficiently on an ongoing basis
* Ensure correct coil selection per schedule and CRF
* Set up of arbors and overarms per CASS set up to customer requirement* Selection and set up of proper mode and tensions
* Program and set up of automatic gauge system
* Quality inspection and proper packaging of material to customer specifications
* Documentation of production and quality data
* Running of packaging line and downlayer
* Perform daily PM checklist
* Report all maintenance problems to maintenance personnel
* Operate scrap baller, inspection station and lighting systems
* Tag Tracking and online database experience
* Housekeeping in area
* Assign training to Operating Technicians and monitor progress

CTL Primary Duties Include:
* Ensure that the CTL is running correctly and efficiently on an ongoing basis
* Ensure correct material is being processed
* Line setup and packaging meets customer requirements
* Leveler is set to ensure flatness of material
* Documentation for reporting purpose is correct and timely
* Quality requirements are being met to customer specifications
* Perform daily P.M. checklist
* Report all maintenance problems to maintenance personnel
* Assist in repairs as needed
* Clean line and equipment as needed
* Daily housekeeping of CTL area
* Operate washer, oxidri reoiler, oil separation system and centrifuge as needed
* Operate stackers and proper placement of pallets into stacker area
* Ability to make quality decisions as needed


Press Primary Duties Include:
* Blank and part positioning on dies and transfers
* Manual lifting and bending to load, process and unload parts
* Inspect parts as processed and record results
* Make quality judgments as to defects and acceptability. Notify Supervisor, Die Repair and/or Quality of defects
* Troubleshoot through Panel Mate and visual
* Clean, clear and unjam parts
* De-Stacker setup and troubleshooting
* Proper labeling
* Follow work instructions
* Work with tagging system and understand paperwork flow
* Data entry information and update through Tag Tracking
* Assist Team Members in all functions as required
* Keep work area neat and clean at all times
* Hourly Part Checks on gages and hourly racks
* Train new technicians as assigned
* Meet production standards with quality parts and performance
* Complete Production Status Boards
* Subject to the requirements established to meet TS 16949
* Work with Die Repair and Automation Techs to troubleshoot.


MBL Primary Duties Include:
* Ensure that the MBL is running correctly and efficiently on an ongoing basis
* Ensure correct material is being processed
* Line set up and packaging meets customer requirements
* Leveler set to ensure flatness of material
* Documentation for reporting purpose is correct and timely
* Quality requirements are being met to customer specifications
* Perform daily PM checklist
* Report all maintenance problems to maintenance personnel
* Assist in repairs as needed
* Clean line and equipment as needed
* Housekeeping in area
* Setup stackers and proper positioning of skids and boards
* Assign training to Operating Technicians and monitor progress
* Data entry information and Tag Tracking production

Education and/or Experience
High School Diploma or equivalency

Skills and Abilities


Demonstrate proficiency in all associated job duties on the Slitter
Strong communication and prioritization skills
Ability to get along well with fellow employees
PC experience / Tag Tracking
Knowledge of CASS program and set up
