Summary: SKF Aerospace, a leader in aviation bearings, is looking for talented individuals to support its North American units producing bearings for the Aerospace & Defense industry, as well as for industrial & commercial applications. Key Responsibilities: Measure, inspect, count bearings, and parts received for inspection. Inspect per specifications according to prescribed methods using varied measuring equipment and maintaining records thereof. Etch prescribed markings on finished parts and/or bearings, utilizing hand air pencil, laser, vibro-peen, electrolytic, and other approved marking methods. Use gauging to inspect components & assembled bearings. Gauging equipment to use includes, but is not limited to Federal ID/OD, Banjo, Height Stand. Visually inspect bearing rings after critical match/assembly operations. (May require certification through exams and meet visual standards as specified). Maintain proper documentation as required. Over-inspect all finished assemblies to ensure compliance to all customer requirements, as well as present parts to internal/external source representatives. Operate component washing equipment as necessary or as directed. Transport designated material using various portable devices between specified locations as required. Responsibility for care, preventative maintenance, cleanliness and set-up of assigned machines. Requirements: High School Diploma of GED. What Youll Love About SKF: Rest and Relaxation.
