KAMO is a member-owner of Associated Electric Cooperative, Inc., (AECI) who provides the electric capacity and energy needs for KAMO and five other G&Ts in Missouri. As a non-profit rural electric cooperative, revenues from sales are used to cover KAMO's expenses; revenues exceeding costs are credited back to the 17 member-owners in the form of patronage capital
