Job Description


As a Facilities TD Mechanical Exhaust Technician your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Model safety as a value and adhere to stringent environmental compliance culture.

  • Emphasize on outdoor-hands-on work, at various heights.

  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance activities while supporting factory tool install, de-install, and construction activities.

  • Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain exhaust facility equipment and systems.

  • Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on exhaust facility equipment and systems.

  • Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and perform required preventative maintenance duties.

  • Perform assignments that are semi-routine in nature with work performed within generally defined parameters.

  • Obtain and maintain respirator certification to adhere to safety protocol while performing some aspects of the job. Attend required safety and certification training, participation in Intel safety programs ensuring an Incident and Injury Free workplace

Role requires some editing of documents and using various software including:

  • Office applications, Cimplicity, Maximo, Fuzion, ILM.

The successful candidate should exhibit the following behavioral traits:

  • Customer service judgment required in resolving nonstandard problems.

  • Willingness to excel as an individual contributor and part of a team and partner effectively across multiple facilities operations disciplines.

This position is for a compressed workweek role that works alternating three- and four-day work weeks. Shift 5 works dayshift Sun-Tues and every other Wednesday. Shift 7 works Thur-Sat and every other Wednesday.


Qualifications


You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

Minimum Qualifications:

The candidate must possess at least one of the following:

  • Associate degree in industrial, Chemical, Mechanical field or related.

  • Military service with 2+ years of work experience in the Industrial, Chemical, or Mechanical field or related.

  • 3+ years of work experience in the Industrial, Chemical, or Mechanical field or related in lieu of degree.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience on how to use all hand tools, power tools, and test equipment used in the area.

  • Experience with statistical methods, including Statistical Process Control.
