and pride. The Full Stack Developer is responsible for driving
application design and development decisions around Generac\'s complex
and critical web and mobile-friendly applications. Working closely with
the business teams to understand needs, this person will collect and
write specifications, align to roadmaps to deliver functionality, direct
and/or perform development, drive continuous code integration, and
deliver the solutions to meet business objectives. The full stack
application developer should have recent and relevant experience in
front and back-end development as the position will require significant
hands-on attention. This position is considered a technical expert for
the group and assists in work assignments for lower-level application
developers and off-shore contractors. Success requires commitment to
working as a part of a team to meet critical delivery schedules.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Work as a senior member of a
software development team which continuously delivers new functionality
to the Generac business and its customers. Meet with decision makers,
product owners and end users to define business requirements and system
goals and identify and resolve business systems issues. Review project
ideas and provide technical input, prescribing appropriate application
solutions which balance business requirements with Generac\'s technology
standards to arrive at the optimal solution. Plan, design, and develop
web applications using best practice design patterns to ensure robust
scalability and easy enhancement in line with evolving business growth.
Manage the complete software development process from conception through
deployment. Maintain, upgrade, and support the software following
deployment. Lead the design and development process through
implementation by creating specifications, mentoring junior team members
and collaborating with other IT teams and business partners. Create and
manage project and resource plans for project efforts. Manage the
