Support Staff
This is a temporary or an on-call position. Serve as a proctor for MSU classroom exams, which involves checking-in examinees, monitoring examinees during tests, following standard operating procedures, and completing paperwork as necessary. Will conduct "active proctoring," which requires the ability to walk or stand for up to three hours. Must understand and follow the policies and procedures of each department, and defer to instructor if/when cheating behavior is observed.
Conducts proctoring duties across colleges at MSU as assigned by the Testing Center Manager or designated representative. Proctoring is typically completed in person, but can be conducted remotely as required by requesting units.

Graduate Students/Teaching Assistants - in order to administer examinations
Student Employees - in order to administer examinations
Faculty/Staff/Managers - in order the administer examinations
Supervisors/Administrative Assistants - in order to receive work assignments and training, and to exchange information
Co-workers/Representatives for other University departments - in order to exchange information, resolve problems and receive training as required
Knowledge normally acquired through a high school education.
Preferred qualifications: Previous experience as a teacher, professor, librarian or test administrator
