An exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Worker is now available. As a member of the Facilities team, you will be performing preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment, grounds work, and systems and structures throughout the facility, along with snow removal and floor care. This position also takes great pride in making sure that the patient environment is sanitary, comfortable, and safe. As a maintenance worker, you will have a significant impact on the quality of care delivered to UPHS - Portage.

Position Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required

2 years institutional/commercial maintenance/custodial experience preferred

Basic knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and/or electronic systems preferred

Valid driver’s license required

Annual influenza vaccination or declination required

Position Details:

1.0 FTE (40 hours per week)

Night Shift - 8 hour shifts

Rotating weekends and holidays
