JOB REQUIREMENTS: Accountabilities/Duties: Delivers perioperative care
to the surgical patient through the nursing process of assessment,
planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation. Maintains a safe
environment for the patient following AORN guidelines Able to prep the
patient following AORN guidelines Creates and maintains a sterile field,
has a good sterile conscious. Provides for appropriate handling and
labeling of specimen and cultures Knowledge of medications and their
correct administration based on age of the patient and their clinical
condition. Collaborates with other healthcare team members on patient
care. Communicates appropriately and clearly to Nurse Manager,
co-workers and physicians Documents accurately and completely and keeps
records regarding clinical practice. Works as a team to complete daily,
weekly and monthly checklists Required Qualifications: Current WI RN
license Current BLS certification (must be through American Heart
Association or American Red Cross) 1+ years recent experience as OR
Circulator Preferred Qualifications: BSN degree ACLS certification
