our FROEDTERT HOSPITAL facility. This job is ON - SITE. FTE: 1.000000
Shift: 1st Schedule: 2-weeks Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm (In-class)
and 2-weeks Monday - Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm (Clinical) Job Summary: The
phlebotomy apprentice will develop competency in and demonstrate the
ability to perform the duties of a phlebotomist. The training will
include learning about laboratory equipment, proper handling methods of
blood and urine specimens, anatomy and physiology, and blood-drawing
techniques utilizing needles and other collection methods. Program
participants will be hired on as a FH Phlebotomy Apprentice and will be
paid for all class time. There is no program or application fee. The
classroom portion includes two week in-person, with class times from
8:00a.m. - 4:30 p.m., weekdays only. Clinical portion will be two weeks
6:00a.m. - 2:30p.m. Perfect attendance is required for successful
completion of the class. Class participants must pass pre-employment
Froedtert Health pre-employment checks, which may include a criminal
background check, health assessment and drug screen, as well as
verification of our required vaccinations. After successful completion
of the training program, you\'ll be eligible to work in Froedtert Health
Phlebotomy Services. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent is
required. Healthcare experience is preferred. Familiarity with
