Job Summary | The Executive Administrative Assistant works independently and collaboratively to provide executive level fiscal and operational coordination for, and support to, the Associate Provost performing daily financial, office, and project management activities including, but not limited to, budget coordination and management (departments, grants, foundation), report and newsletter generation, meeting and travel coordination and arrangement, agenda and minutes preparation and stakeholder communication and coordination. The successful candidate will be highly organized, self-directed, adaptive and demonstrate strong independent thinking and decision-making skills. Professionalism, strong time management skills, excellent customer service and flexibility are a must to manage this fast-paced environment and ensure that the unit operates at optimum efficiency. This position requires knowledge of institutional and state policies and procedures, demonstrated ability to interact with executive level administrators, faculty, government officials and business executives with an understanding of protocol, political environment and implications and confidentiality. |
