JOB REQUIREMENTS: POSITION SUMMARY The Senior Engineer Insulation will
support the outfitting design team, within the engineering team, and
support outfitting design tasks. This to include drawing development, 3D
model development, drawing reviews, inspections, coordination, tracking
status and tracking documentation. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following. Other duties may be assigned. The Senior Engineer
Insulation will manage the following: Creation, development and delivery
of drawings to meet contract requirements Review and approval of
drawings from suppliers Involved with management of supplier
relationships and monitoring Change form drawings and associated
documentation Work packages Serve as an internal subject matter expert
for shipboard fire insulation requirements Oversee the design of all
design related to insulation and insulation boundaries SKILLS Must have
technological skills proven by verifiable and specific work experience,
technical publication, or patent issue. Must have a working knowledge of
standard shipbuilding rules and regulations, as well as the associated
regulatory agencies and the review & approval process. Must have current
computer skills relevant to the field of competence. Must have ability
to work within schedule restraints. Must have the ability to maintain a
professional demeanor. Must have effective written and verbal
