14 full time, temporary seasonal jobs available 04/10/2024 - 11/15/2024. Worker will be required to perform a variety of duties found in SOC Code 45-2092 Farmworkers and Laborers, Crop, Nursery, and Greenhouse such as: Record information about crops such as pesticide use, yields, or costs; Repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; Set up, repair, maintain, and operate irrigation equipment; Operate tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery (much of which is equipped with GPS) such as skid loader, conveyer, piler to plow, harrow and fertilize soil, or to plant, cultivate, spray and harvest crops such as potatoes; Clean work areas and maintain grounds and landscaping; Regulate conditions; Feel plants' leaves and note their coloring to detect the presence of insects or disease; Perform wash plant duties and make seed cutting preparations. Requirements: *Three months experience *Lift 75 pounds *Must be able to obtain appropriate non-CDL drivers license following hire and have clean driving record *Drug testing (random, post hire, at employer's expense) *Exposure to extreme temperatures *Repetitive movements, extensive walking, extensive pushing or pulling The full terms and conditions of the job (form ETA790a) should be reviewed and provided to qualified applicants from this website: seasonaljobs.dol.gov.
