Qualifications and requirements
- AWHONN fetal monitoring or NRP.
- Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association is required within 30 days of hire.
- 5 years of experience in an L&D setting
- Current state RN license and a bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school.
- Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association is required within 30 days of hire.
- PALS Certification from the American Heart Association is required upon hire
Minimum Requirements:
- Successful Completing the Nursing Diploma Program or an associate degree in nursing from an accredited school is required.
- You must have critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) is required within 30 days of hire.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) are required within 6 months of employment for Superflex RN positions.
- A current North Carolina or compact state Registered Nurse license is also required. Handle with care is preferred.
