Job Summary | The Division of Pediatric Nephrology at the University of Utah School of Medicine is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to function as a member of the pediatric nephrology team. The team currently consists of 6 providers, 2 nurse practitioners, 1 dietician and 2 registered nurses. This position will be responsible for delivering professional care to patients in an inpatient setting, as well as in an outpatient setting on a limited basis. As part of the patient care team, this position is responsible for providing optimal patient care through effective clinical practice; education of the patient, patient’s family, clinical staff, and others; consultation with other healthcare providers; and maintain current knowledge regarding options for optimal patient care and outcomes.
