The Opportunity:
As the Student Services Manager, you will be responsible for oversight of all Masters' admissions and retention activity for Graduate and Online Programs in the Carson College of Business (CCB), and oversight of institutional representation for enrollment advising and student support with the online learning services enabling provider. This position reports to the CCB Director of Master's Programs.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead a team that implements admissions and retention policies as set by the Masters Program Policy Committee (MPPC) to receive, evaluate, and determine admissions eligibility to Masters' programs in the CCB. You will also implement policies set forth by CCB MPPC for satisfactory academic progress for continued enrollment to graduation.
You will be responsible for authoring and maintaining documentation of procedures and business processes in support of admissions and student retention policies. In this position, you will manage the admissions workflow process for efficiency and efficacy at scale, and measure and report on admissions, enrollment, retention, and graduation data. You will also provide representation to institutional Enterprise Systems (ES) and Information Technology Services (ITS) for implementation of the student information systems processes, reporting, and reducing administrative burden for student and team users.
This position may be eligible for a remote/hybrid working arrangement.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and four (4) years of progressively responsible experience in a field related to the functional managerial area which has included at least one (1) year of supervisory experience. Any combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis. A Masters degree in a relevant field may be substituted for up to one year of the required experience.
• Master's Degree.
• Demonstrated experience interpreting and applying academic rules, policies, and procedures.
• Demonstrated knowledge of implementing and managing student data systems in higher education.
• Demonstrated ability to exercise professional judgement and positive leadership of a diverse team.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively and efficiently.
• Demonstrated excellent verbal/written communication skills, to include delivering presentations and public speaking.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build partnerships and create positive working relationships with diverse constituents and stakeholders.
• Ability to travel.
• Possession of, or ability to obtain by time of hire, a valid driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Demonstrated experience working with online educational programs.
• Demonstrated experience with CRM systems such as Slate or Sales Force.
• Knowledge of WSU Administrative Information Systems such as MyWSU, Workday, and OBIEE.

Monthly Salary: $4,942.10 - $6,500 | In accordance with https://app.leg.wa.gov/RCW/default.aspx?cite=49.58.110 the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidate's current experience, education, skills, and abilities related to the position. Successful candidates typically begin up to mid-point of the salary range.
