The research laboratory of Dr. Adelaiye-Ogala in the Division of Hematology Oncology, Department of Medicine, Jacobs School of Medicine, and Biomedical Sciences is actively seeking a highly motivated Research Technician with experience in the use of mice to study underlying mechanisms driving therapeutic resistance in genitourinary cancers with emphasis on prostate cancers and kidney cancers. The lab uses preclinical experimental data in clinically relevant cell lines and patient derived xenograft (PDX) and/or organoids to test new treatment modalities through animal studies. Research activity will include performing in vivo studies to test investigational compounds/drugs in the pipeline for efficacy and durability, characterization, and maintenance of established and new PDX, functional and biochemical assays.
