Job DescriptionREQUISITION SUMMARY
Exciting opportunity to develop curriculum for leading edge electronics, vehicle controls, and engine technologies for Kenworth dealership service technicians. Meet dealers and build lasting relationships as a technical expert for PACCAR's innovative systems. Be a recognized expert for technical advice for dealership service issues.
This position is remote and may have heavy travel at times between 20% and 60% of the time. The qualified candidate can be located anywhere in the Continental US or Canada.
DUTIES
Create and maintain technical service training materials and training aids in electronic and other formats
Create and maintain a technical training plan in accordance with strategic objectives for Kenworth Division
Coordinate with Field Service, Dealers, and Kenworth management to identify training needs for new and existing products
Participate in planning meetings for each new technology project under development using the Tollgate system
Coordinate involvement of other departments (Engineering, Manufacturing, Marketing, etc.) to design classroom support materials and training aids
Prepare cost estimates for the production of classroom support materials and training aids, then coordinate purchases
Explore and evaluate alternative media for classroom and virtual training venues to make each more interactive
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Instructional Design, Training and Development, Engineering, or Automotive or Diesel Technology
7+ years previous full time work experience required; 4+ years previous experience in production of industrial training materials required
Personal computer skills including Windows, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required
Previous experience in dealership service or service management in commercial truck industry strongly preferred
Preference for Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) experience or Automotive OEM certifications
Demonstrated knowledge of heavy-duty truck products and manufacturing process desired
Demonstrated ability to manage large, complex projects
Demonstrated ability to work independently
Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to develop trusting business relationships
Between 20% - 40% travel required

The salary range for Service Training Curriculum Developer is $93,000-$145,500 annually. This position is also eligible for a holiday gift.
