Description

The purpose of your role as a Sales Representative
As a Conveyor Sales Representative, you will be responsible for selling material handling systems and associated equipment and capabilities within the food processing or related industries by establishing and maintaining effective contact and providing technical solutions and support for potential customers.
Business Development:
* Execute business development action plans for defined targetsMonitor sales activities and adjust to market changes as necessary
May be assigned to represent one segment of the company in a specialized market

* Develop and identify prospects from current clients, referral leads, and other sourcesMay lead/participate in presentations to new clients
Establish and maintain effective contact with clients

* Provide input and feedback on issues relevant to client programs, work in progress, marketing initiative and sales assistance
Sales:
* Make “cold calls” as required in representatives’ specific area or as designated by Sales Manager
* Maintain and expand market share in existing territory and establish a new customer base
* Plan and attend industry trade and convention shows when requested

* 2+ years of experience in sales, marketing, or engineering a plus.
* Must possess excellent communication skills
* Strong negotiation skills
* High degree of problem-solving skills are necessary
* Up to 50% travel
