Job Description

 
Clarence. Masis Staffing Solutions. Painter/Laborer. From $19/hour. Duties: - Prepare surfaces for painting by scraping, sanding, and filling holes and cracks - Apply primer and paint to surfaces using brushes, rollers, or spray guns - Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired shades - Clean and maintain painting tools and equipment - Follow safety guidelines and use protective gear when working with paints and chemicals - Assist with other labor tasks as needed Skills: - Knowledge of color theory and the ability to mix and match paint colors - Proficiency in caulking and applying sealants to surfaces - Experience in concrete finishing for both interior and exterior applications - Basic math skills for measuring surfaces and calculating paint quantities - Ability to read blueprints and follow specifications for painting projects - Familiarity with stucco application and maintenance techniques - Understanding of construction estimating principles for material and labor costs - General maintenance person skills for minor repairs or touch-ups - Proficiency in using hand tools such as brushes, rollers, scrapers, and sanders Please note that this job description is not exhaustive, and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
