Job Description

 
4 full time, temporary, seasonal jobs available 06/20/2024 - 11/30/2024. Workers will perform duties relating to the handling and packing of various fruit and vegetable crops such as: corn, peppers, specialty peppers, squash, cucumbers, tomatoes, eggplant, broccoli, lettuce, beans, Brussel sprouts, and cabbage. Duties will include loading and unloading of trucks, stacking and palatalizing of produce items, assembling orders, icing and cooling of produce, repacking of produce as needed, and general clean-up and maintenance. Operate trucks or other multi-purpose vehicles to transport workers from housing (weather on or off the farm) to the farm properties; haul tools, supplies, or crops; transport workers from place to place around the farm properties during the workday (including on public roads to reach the farm fields); and/or transport workers to the grocery store, bank, or laundry facilities on an as needed basis Duties may vary from time to time. Applicants must have a minimum of three months experience operating both hand and electric jacks and forklifts, All applicants must possess the ability to work between hot and cold temperatures throughout their shift, work various shifts, be on their feet for long periods of time, and the ability to lift 80 pounds.
