WHAT YOU'LL DO:
The Data Engineer position is responsible for defining, developing and maintaining the modernization of TruStone Financial Credit Union's data architecture, ETL processes, and data solutions.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
Availability to work 40 hours per week Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00am - 5:00 at our Burnsville Administrative Office; exempt.
In addition:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Three or more years of experience in a Data Engineering role that includes all of the following:
Data analysis, data profiling, and data engineering.
Design or development of enterprise data solutions, applications, and integrations.
Developing ELT and ETL solutions on premise and in the Cloud.
Developing with SQL and NoSQL databases.
Working with Data warehousing methodologies and data/dimensional modelling concepts.
Working with Master Data Management systems.
Working with and building Relational Database Management Systems.
Working with structured and unstructured data.
Two or more years of experience in building and supporting Cloud data warehouse/data lake architecture on Azure/AWS.
Preferred experience in the following would be helpful:
With programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, PowerShell.
With data streaming platforms such as Kafka.
With ITIL4 foundations or higher certification.
With agile, lean, scrum, DEVOPS, DATAOPS, and scaled agile framework (SAFe) methodologies.
In designing and developing document databases such as MongoDB.
In designing and developing Graph databases.
Building and supporting a microservice architecture.
Ability to reason through logic problems and apply creative thinking.
Ability to understand, interpret, and analyze data very quickly.
Strong verbal and written and interpersonal communication skills.
Maintain compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act and all its provisions.
Ability to pass all pre-employment drug test and various background checks.
Responsible for regular and reliable attendance at the workplace.
