Lynden Incorporated is seeking an Accounts Payable Supervisor to join our SeaTac based team. We are looking for someone who is highly organized and detail oriented to supervise our dynamic Accounts Payable team! The Account Payable Supervisor will direct the accounts payable entry processing and payment functions in a shared service environment. This is not a safety sensitive position.

- Supervising, training, and developing the Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist team
- Planning and allocating work for AP team
- Developing and monitoring the AP Specialist team goals
- Assisting with the hiring of AP staff
- Overseeing AP invoice and payment processes including working with Operating Companies to code expenses and assign approval workflow
- Researching AP inquiries from Operating Companies and vendors
- Developing and maintaining AP process documentation
- Reporting on AP metrics to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of AP processes
- Overseeing AP tax reporting for 1099 and 1042 submission including responsibility for exception resolution
- Monitoring the property tax process to ensure on-time payments
- Managing the unclaimed property process
- Overseeing the month end AP process
What we need from you:
- 5+ years of related AP or related accounting experience.
- Previous experience using enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.
- AA degree from a two-year college or university or equivalent combination of education and experience.
What would be nice for you to have:
- 2+ years of supervisory experience or training.
- Previous experience with Workday Finance or Oracle EBS.
- Experience in a shared service environment and transportation.
