THIS IS A PART-TIME POSITION

The Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) recruits and obtains consent from study participants at clinic visits and conducts quantitative data collection and qualitative interviews for caregivers and healthcare providers, assisting in qualitative data analysis. The CRC contributes to a research study on therapeutic alliance (TA) in pediatric weight management. The mixed-methods study aims to determine the congruency between caregiver-reported and healthcare provider reported TA and determine association between congruency in TA with family engagement and retention in pediatric weight management treatment over 6 months.

Responsibilities




Recruits and obtains consent from parent and healthcare provider research participants.
Conducts quantitative data collection and maintains study record-keeping systems such as Redcap.
Conducts interviews and assist with qualitative data analysis.
Conducts IRB administrative duties and other miscellaneous study-related duties.

Qualifications




KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

Associates degree or equivalent work related experience; Bachelor's degree in the health, social, or behavioral sciences or related field, preferred. (Expected degree in next year will also be considered).

Skills:

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively engage research participants, families, and collaborators in person, by telephone, and videoconferencing platforms.
Ability to handle sensitive topics and safeguard participant privacy and protected health information.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and written and verbal communication skills.

Experience: Previous research experience, preferred.
