possible. About The OpportunityTo aid in the quick, efficient and
accurate production of materials by operating a die cutter. This
application is to be considered for any Diecutter Operator openings in
the department in preparation for new equipment. Positions available
include 8hr 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift, as well as, straight 12hr day shift
or 12 hr night shift. The following duties are normal for this position.
The incumbent may perform some or all of these duties, however, it is
not an exclusive or all-inclusive list. Other duties may be assigned.
Demonstrates commitment to safety and performs job duties in accordance
with company safety policies and procedures. Demonstrates commitment to
quality and performs job duties in adherence to GMP guidelines. Should
be aware of their responsibilities and their accountability is clearly
defined for key staff involved with product safety, legality, and
quality systems. Understand job ticket information to determine
quantity, special work instructions, and any other special customer
requirements. Determine the best manufacturing method to produce product
efficiently and effectively. Set-up diecutter & tooling and operate die
cutter. Be able to assist other operators on 2 person make readies.
Maintain accurate counts (load and total counts). Be able to run baler
and change bales as needed. Setup and make-ready of diecut, score,
stripping, & blanking tooling if required. Maintain supplies for
department. Pull stock for job \-- wind and jog stock if needed. Be able
to operate powered pallet equipment. Maintain high efficiency according
to established rates during operation of the assigned equipment.
Maintain quality of product produced by monitoring diecutting and
creasing and stripping of waste. Troubleshoot and make decisions
regarding the quality of finished product. Complete required quality
inspections and paperwork. Work with peers and other departments to
improve quality and performance. Play an active role in the maintenance
