Job Description

 
RESPONSIBILITIES: . Prepare and deliver meals . Assist in the preparation of meals and snacks . Follow dietary plans and restrictions as prescribed by the healthcare team . Clean and maintain the kitchen and dining area . Monitor and restock inventory supplies . Assist in setting up and cleaning up for special events . Follow safety and sanitation guidelines in accordance with New York State Department of health and Federal Guidelines. QUALIFICATIONS: . Ability to work in harmony with co-workers towards achievement of goals of Dietary Department. . Excellent customer service and communication skills . Is friendly and polite, shows respect toward others . Should be available in emergencies for additional assignments Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Ability to speak, read and write English and be capable of following oral and written instructions.
