Job Description:
Our higher-education client is looking for a Front End Developer that has experience specifically in Umbraco for a part-time freelance opportunity. Please highlight your experience with this upon applying for consideration!

This role is:
- 5-10 hours/week, typically closer to 5 hours, however can fluctuate based upon project needs and can be up to 20-25 hours during peak weeks.
- Day-time business hours availability is essential, as you may need to be on internal meetings.
- Fully Remote (must reside in the United States)
- Ongoing

The ideal candidate:
- Front End Developer with specific experience in Umbraco is required
- Experience in landing page development and optimization
- HTML, CSS, Javascript, and Git version control, with a strong understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility
- Experience with Content Management Systems and template-based development.
- Drupal and WordPress experience is a plus!
- Does not include any app or software development, this is strictly for websites*
- Familiar with testing and optimization tools, preferably VWO

In this role, you will be primarily focused on landing page development and updates, HTML development via Marketo, facilitation of CRO tests in the VWO (Visual Website Optimizer) code environment, as well as various consultation and scoping expertise for current and future projects.

More details on responsibilities:
- Develop visually appealing and functional landing pages using in-house module system, ensuring alignment with branding guidelines and UX/UI best practices
- Implement updates and requirements to existing landing pages to improve performance and user experience
- Monitor landing page performance metrics, and implement optimizations to enhance conversion rates and user engagement
- Work with the internal marketing team to understand project requirements and translate them into actionable front end dev tasks.
- Build and edit HTML code to support various digital initiatives, including email templates and website enhancements
- Conduct testing and optimization experiments using the VWO framework to gather insights and make data-driven decisions
- Provide support on project scoping and briefs as needed, offering expertise on any front end dev requirements and what is feasible / realistic
