GENERAL PURPOSE
A Regional Solutions and Consultants Manager (RSCM) will build sales revenue through uncovering and developing opportunities directly through end-users, consultants and architects within the assigned region/regions. This position will require extensive sales experience, including the ability to evaluate, coordinate, educate, and manage the needs of end users accounts to fulfill high-demand/high-volume projects in commercial markets. The role requires an understanding of AV application including signal path and basic systems application and design. The position will place emphasis on building long-term relationships, identification and leverage of new opportunities and emerging trends which include all Legrand AV Division (AVD) brands. The RSCM will work closely with the team of Legrand and Regional Brand Sales Managers (RBSM) to identify and build close working relationships and opportunity coordination through cooperation and building trust. The RSCM may have a focused vertical market or application the they drive within the Zone.
MAIN STRATEGIC INITIATIVES
Directly manage Targeted end user accounts, Consultants and Architects
Develop and implement specifications regional strategy
Team with Territory Sales Manager (TSM) / Legrand sales team members and RBSM to support strategy already in place
Partner with Legrand Market Development Group (MDG)
Develop and implement end user strategy
Vertical focus based on AVD evaluations: Gov't. Broadcast, Higher-Ed, House of Worship, Transportation, Hospitality, Financial and vertical application -Digital signage / Control Rooms
Partner with Legrand AVD Marketing Team
Team with key integrators for end user alignment
Drive all opportunities through the sales channel
Be the expert in managing this process
Manage and track major projects, initiatives, and progress using SalesForce.com (SFDC)
DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
Identify high potential end-users and driving opportunities across all Legrand AVD brands
Maintain sales channel relationship to insure trust and maximize cooperation
Partner with Legrand AVD TSM and Brand drivers regarding all opportunities developed throughout the process
Provide strategic input leading to the development of new product applications and/or new product-development opportunities
Coordinate between brand experts to assist in demonstration, specifications and opportunity success
Clearly communicate needed marketing and sales-support collateral and programs to the appropriate internal resources for potential development/implementation
Develop and perform quarterly strategic sales plans and monthly "pipeline" forecasts
Maintain a working knowledge of the all products to answer the majority of the day to day questions.
Maintain accurate and timely reporting of information to ensure that both the customer and the Company are provided with the information they need to best perform their jobs
Accomplish other assignments or projects assigned by management
Work across all Legrand companies to maximize customer opportunities and solutions provided
Understand workplace hazards and take steps to proactively prevent and report hazards or injuries in the workplace. Cooperate in safety programs, initiatives, and investigations.

Sales Quotas
Develop Management By Objectives (MBO) that reflect sales activity and will be driven by opportunities created and relationship developed
Develop a target amount of opportunities created and sales achievement, regionally, and nationally
Communicating field observations
Identify and communicate competitor activities and other industry activities.
Provide feedback of end user trends and buying habits.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Essential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
Solid working knowledge of Professional Audio Visual and Video / Audio systems
Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Good computer and database skills with proficiency in using the internet and Microsoft Office suite of software including Word, Excel and Outlook (or related e-mail system)
Ability to operate/work in a high growth & entrepreneurial environment
Motivated, self-starter who desires success
Demonstrated ability to be customer focused and responsive to questions and needs
Ability to work in a team environment, and leverage additional resources as needed
Proven ability to present facts and recommendations effectively in oral and written form

Minimum Education and Experience Required:
Minimum Five (5) years in Sales Experience in the AV / IT / Audio- Video, preferred in the AV / IT Industries sales channel, and experience working directly with end users.
Bachelor Degree or equivalent working experience (5 years) preferred in AV / IT industry
Special Job Requirements:
Must be able to provide for a safe home office working environment
Must be available for extended, varied work hours based on business need
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with specific geographical-based markets in which the position resides
Experience using SalesForce.com
Previous work experience in areas relevant to the assigned technology
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required (for the majority of the working day) to sit and make coordinated movements of the fingers for data entry on a keyboard.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
General (home) office and field sales environment
Requires regular ground travel to other company facilities
Long-distance or air travel as needed - 50-75%
