The Drama Department his hiring up to three people in the Stage Technician 2 Temporary position. POSITION PURPOSE The Stage Technician 2 (NE H NI SEIU 925 Non Supv)will perform a variety of technical stage production duties; assist staff. DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS Positions in this class perform theater technical duties requiring knowledge and skill in carpentry, electricity, and sound. Work closely with other personnel, including students, to safely handle and install specialized theatrical equipment. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES [75%] Reorganizing and disposing or storing all scenery, drapery, and stage equipment for rehearsal studios [15%] Assist in the assembly of audience risers and seating.
