Job Functions / Responsibilities
Accepts ownership and manages all MX engine issues that arise within their region
Contact person for dealers in the region when they have questions or concerns working with DAVIE or navigating through Rapido
Track all open SupportLink cases in the region to ensure timely communication and an action plan exists to get the truck back in service
Act as the first contact for Kenworth DSMs when they need further assistance or information pertaining to any MX issues in their district
Coordinate between Engine Support Center and Engineering when higher level assistance is required
Communicate resolution path to dealer/customer
Travel to the truck in question when hands-on assistance is required
Follow the case through until the issue is resolved
Ensure that all resolved SupportLink cases are closed out in a timely fashion and that all pertinent information is included in the case notes
Disseminate diagnostic and repair information to the DSMs, Dealers, and customers to resolve product issues
Report on new emerging issues. Assist Engineering in the investigation and resolution
Assist Engineering with tool development as needed.
Responsible for dealer/customer presentations that support the MX product
Will be the primary company representative at regional trade shows and truck association meetings
Track and ensure that each full-service dealer location within the region maintains the required number of MX-certified technicians to support the product in their APMR
Conduct PACCAR engine, after treatment, fuel system, and DAVIE/Rapido diagnostic training for dealer technicians and customers as needed
This individual will not have any dealer location responsibilities but will stay focused 100% on support of the MX engine
30% to 50% travel required, often on short notice
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, or automotive technology preferred
5+ years of industry-related experience
Strong communication skills
Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
Proficiency in industry diagnostic systems preferred
Mechanical aptitude with a strong background in electronics

The salary range for Region Engine Service Manager - Canada Region is $96,700-$151,300 annually. This position is also eligible for a holiday gift.
