Job Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Development Director to join our team in the remodeling construction industry. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of proven success in sales within the building & remodeling sector, with a focus on both commercial and residential properties. This role requires a dynamic individual who can leverage their industry knowledge to develop and close leads by building great relationships & ultimately be a major player to the growth and success of our organization.
Responsibilities: Lead Development: • Identify & cultivate new leads through market research, networking, and industry knowledge. • Collaborate with marketing teams to implement effective lead generation strategies. Sales Process: • Manage the end-to-end sales process, from initial contact through negotiation and contract closure. • Conduct thorough needs assessments, qualification, and present tailored solutions to potential clients. Relationships & Communication: • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, contractors, internal staff and other key stakeholders. • Leverage existing industry connections and actively seek out opportunities for business development. • Communicates promptly & clearly between teams to keep all parties connected & projects moving forward. Market Awareness: • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities. • Adjust sales strategies accordingly to maximize opportunities and address challenges. Sales Metrics and Reporting: • Track and analyze sales performance, cycle & conversion metrics to ensure goals and targets are met. • Provide regular reports on sales activities, achievements, and areas for improvement. Estimation & Sales Data: • Keeps & reports on up-to-date historical & competitive estimation data to provide initial ball-park estimates & support feasibility studies • Keep customer CRM database updated & populated accurately for production teams
